TERRAIN PARKS

Here at Paoli Peaks, we have 2 parks:  Empire Park and the Bonk. Empire park has more intermediate to advanced features.  If you've just started progressing your skills to the next level and aren't quite ready for the big park yet, no worries, we have a beginner park - the Bonk. The Bonk is located at the top of the hill next to the Triple Lift.  It has its own rope tow to take you back to the top if you choose not to go down to the bottom of the slopes.

Paoli Peaks promotes and encourages Smart Style, which is a terrain park specific safety program that you should check out before using terrain parks.  We recommend visiting www.terrainparksafety.org for more information on Smart Style.

There are 4 main points to Smart Style:

  1. MAKE A PLAN - Every time you use freestyle terrain, make a plan for each feature you want to use. Your speed, approach and take off will directly affect your maneuver and landing
  2. LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAP - Scope around the jumps first, not over them. Know your landings are clear and clear yourself out of the landing area.
  3. EASY STYLE IT - Start small and work your way up. (Inverted aerials not recommended)
  4. RESPECT GETS RESPECT - From the lift line through the park.

Whether your riding in the park or just cruising on the slopes, you should KNOW THE CODE before you step out on the snow.
