What is Pocket Change?
Pocket Change is Paoli Peaks' version of a gift card. It is a re-loadable debit card that can be used anywhere at Paoli Peaks except the Pro Shop.
Why can't I use my debit card at the Pro Shop?
Pocket Change is valid at Paoli Peaks cash registers only. The Pro Shop is a separate business, owned and operated by someone other than Paoli Peaks, Inc. or Peak Resorts, Inc.
How do I add/load more money onto my Pocket Change?
That's easy! You can load more money onto your card 1 of 3 ways: 1) On your next visit, stop by the front office located up the stairs in the "fireplace" room. The process takes only a minute. 2) Give us a call at your convenience. We'd be happy to assist you over the phone! 3) Buy online! Visit our online shopping cart and click on the "Gift Card Maintenance" link at the top of the page.
What information do I need to provide to add/load money onto my Pocket Change?
We can use the Pocket Change card number (located on front of card), the first and last name of the card holder, or both to look up account information and add more money onto the card.
Why buy a Pocket Change card when I can just use my cash or credit card?
That's a good question and trust me, we've got some good answers!
- Our gift cards are unique in the fact that they can be assigned to a specific person, unlike a generic gift card from somewhere like Walmart or Target. That means, if you're gift card is lost or stolen, we can recover your money!
- It's easier to carry than cash. You don't have to worry about loose change or individual dollar bills falling out of pockets.
- A lost Pocket Change card is much easier to recover than a lost credit card.
- They make great gifts and you know the receiver will use their gift on something worthwhile!
What should I do if I lose my Pocket Change Card?
Inform us immediately! We can cancel your existing card and re-issue a brand new one with no added costs. New cards will be issued with the existing balance on the card at the time of cancelation and NOT for the original amount.
Do Pocket Change cards expire?
No, our Pocket Change cards do not expire. If, for some reason, you are unable to use your Pocket Change during the season, you will still be able to use it next season or the season after that.... and so on.
Can someone else use my card?
Yes. While the gift card can be purchased in someone's name, we do not print the name on the Pocket Change card; nor do we ask for identification when the card is being used. We have chosen this process to make it easier on the customer. This allows for different family members ( or friends) to use the same card without facing any issues at the register. Because anyone can use the Pocket Change card, it is still important to keep track of it at all times and to notify us immediately if it is missing.
